Technology has opened many doors for creators around the world. Anyone can create and publish a video for the world to see or post an image they edited to social media. Digital content creation and sharing is easier than ever leading to a new challenge. How do we ensure that creators are getting honored for their hard work?

One way is by respecting the wishes of the original creator. Digital content can easily be licensed with Creative Commons Licenses like the one you see below my video. It allows you to use, make changes, and even share my work in your creations as long as you give me appropriate credit and share your creation with the same licensing. Creative Commons Licenses can come in many flavors, but all have one thing in common. They require the user to give appropriate credit to the original creator. Reading this I wondered, what exactly is appropriate credit? This question led to the acronym T.A.S.L. and my creation of the video "Attribution CEP811" to explain T.A.S.L. and how that can help you ensure that creators who inspire you are given appropriate credit. Check out my video below to learn more.
